Ok, this is a really funny picture. This is how you get a building rewired! As you know, the old building burned last November. When I decided to move next door, I had all the old wiring pulled out and changed. Here are Master electrician Sammy and his two lovely assistants, Mary and Reka installing the new lighting on the showroom floor.
Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. We're in the process of moving into the shop after our fire last November and I just lost track of time. I had no idea it would take sooooo long to do this.
Here's a view from the back of the new store. 
Stephen is putting fabric over the concrete walls. Ww thought it was a great undertaking (translation: CRAZY!) but it is looking really good!

So as you see, things are finally coming back together for us. Many thanks to Mike (Precision Custom Jewelers), the Southern Jewelry News, Mac's Tire Center (for our temporary home), Baswell Services, and most of all Lynne, JoAnn and little Ashley for being the best friends in the world!

I've often heard the old aying "what goes around...comes around". As my faithful follwers know, after the fire we were so fortunate to purchase the jewelry showcases, lights, fixtures and other goodies from a retiring jeweler, Mike Malyazko (Precision Custom Jewelers), in North Carolina. After we set up all the showcases we could use, we had a few left over. I decided to post them on EBAY and you wo't believe what happened next. The jeweler that sold them to us had just decided to go back ito business on a much smaller scale and needed three or four showcases. He found something that looked really familiar on EBAY. He called me and we made arrangements to meet in a few days to load them up for a trip basck to North Carolina! We had dinner and got to know each other better. I discovered he had perfected a new ring sizer for 1/4 sizes and he even sent me a smaple. We also found out that we know all the same poeple in the jewelry industry! It really is a small world out there!
