We about to welcome the longest day of the year or summer solstice. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, in the sense that the length of time elapsed between sunrise and sunset on this day is a maximum for the year. Of course, daylight saving time means that the first Sunday in April has 23 hours and the last Sunday in October has 25 hours, but these human meddlings with the calendar and do not correspond to the actual number of daylight hours.
Now that the science lesson is over, what does this mean to you? It means the Diamond Diva is about to have a summer clearance sale! The Diva likes to "lighten the load" in the summer time and get ready for all the new goodies that will magically appear around the middle of September, just in time for Christmas layaways!
Our hours will be Monday through Friday 10am to 5pm. Saturdays and Sundays...just ask!
You can always shop online at www.wayfil@com which is our EBAY store or call 662-844-2427.
