The day started at 5am. I met Santa at the shop and we worked on the last few custom made rings that had to be on the sleigh by tonight! And we made it! Some of the more interesting ones were a fellow who needed a silver Mother's ring with a ruby and sapphire in it. We happened to have a blank silver mounting in just the right size along with the stones he needed!

I mounted two loose diamonds for earrings, sized several rings and wrapped a lot of presents today.

It was a great Christmas Eve ....I'm going home to look at my toes for three whole days!

The Diamond Divas.

Today it was a pleasure to be at work. The shop was closed so I had Pandora Radio on the Christmas station. It gave me the creativity to take an old illusion plate ring mounting apart. Then I cleaned and dressed it out so I could solder the head and the pretty diamond onto a new engraved shank. The client is going to were this white gold ring in between a rose gold and a yellow gold matching band. We had taken the past and meshed it with the present. I love Christmas!
